Engineering, Procurement and Construction

Engineering- High Voltage and Plant

  • Safety In Design- Collaboration with engineering teams on incorporating leading safety indicators into design.

    • Alignment of design with safe tooling

    • Alignment of design with job hazard analysis/assessment to mitigate RIR/lagging indicators

  • Quality in Design

    • Coordination of kitting and integrative building into quality assurance protocol

    • Alignment of warranty and quality assurance requirements from design into Project Execution Plan.

  • Lessons Learned integration in to Construction estimates

    • Logistics planning- Development of just in time planning for delivery of key components- modules, Inverters and step up transformers. Alignment of any safe harbor procurement with deliveries, tax and inventory requirements.

    • Integrative instead of stick build- Reduction of high cost BOS labor activities and move towards off-site build techniques.

  • Collaboration with Existing Partners

    • Partnership with key stakeholders to augment design.

Procurement-

  • Integration of safe harbor inventory with warehousing and site delivery

  • Documented experience on large equipment deliveries including GSU step up transformer and central inverter skids

  • Mapping of deliveries with weather and other logistic risk factors.

  • Management of logistic and trucking companies to align with off-loading requirements

  • Alignment of logistics with site labor planning

  • Review of site logistics to develop just in time delivery system

  • Coordination with project partners on kitting and off-site manufacturing to decrease on site labor

  • Experience with customs agents and protocol to decrease time from foreign delivery partners.

Construction

  • Project and Construction Management Practices for Safety, Quality, Cost Control and Schedule Management

  • Contracting procurement and management

    • Labor analysis to support project build phase

    • Contractor selection and augmentation to support milestone completion

    • Bid design and support for best in class procurement

    • Dispute resolution experience and established support base for contract review and support

    • Alignment with off-taker and other PPA funding milestones.

  • Project Inspection support in alignment with design, warranty and requirements of off-taker and authority having jurisdiction

  • Experience with Environmental management strategies for permit, project execution and long-term operation compliance

    • Development and execution of innovative strategies for vegetation management and pollinator support

  • Fiscally responsible cost controls and management

  • Integration of dynamic project scheduling to meet established metrics and milestones
